This application under Article 227 of the Constitution of India is at the instance of the complainant praying for a direction upon the learned District Consumer Dispute Redressal Commission at Barasat to dispose of the execution proceeding being EA/16/2018 arising out of CC/608/2016 expeditiously.

Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the last date in the execution application was fixed on July 21, 2025 and the next date is fixed only in the month of November, 2025.

In view of the order sought and proposed to be passed, there is no necessity to direct issuance of any notice upon the opposite party. However, the learned advocate-on-record of the petitioner shall be obliged to forward a copy of this application along with this order, upon the opposite party or upon the learned advocate representing the opposite party before the learned District Commission.

In the light of the submission made by the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner, CO 4272 of 2024 stands disposed of by requesting the learned District Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum, North 24 Parganas at Barasat to make an endeavour to dispose of the pending applications filed in Execution Application No. 16 of 2018 as well as the Execution Application No. 16 of 2018 expeditiously.
