Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that petitioner is in custody for 216 days and he has been implicated on the basis of statement of co-accused.

Learned advocate for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits that the offence complained of is heinous offence and the trial Court is at the crucial stage of consideration of charges and the next date is fixed on 31st of March, 2026. Having considered the stage of the case and without entering into the merits, at this stage I am not inclined to release the petitioner on bail.

Accordingly, CRM (M) 2880 of 2025 is dismissed.
