Affidavit of service and the supplementary affidavit, in terms of the leave granted on January 14, 2025, filed on behalf of the petitioner be kept with the record.

The petitioners are the Assistant Teachers at different schools under District Primary School Council, Paschim Medinipur.

The petitioners are not getting 'A' category scale of pay for not having six months Bridge Course from a recognized institution though they have B.Ed. as their training qualification.

Mr. Ghosh Chowdhury, learned advocate for the petitioner submits that similarly placed teachers have been given the benefit of 'A' category scale of pay.

He prays that the issue may be relegated to the Commissioner of School Education, Government of

West Bengal, the respondent no. 2 herein, for consideration.

The respondent no.2 is directed to consider the prayer of the petitioner for 'A' category scale of pay in accordance with law and to facilitate such consideration, the petitioner is directed to supply the complete copy of the writ petition to the respondent no.2.

WPA 29672 of 2024 is disposed of with the above terms without any order as to costs.

Since no affidavit has been invited, the allegations made in the writ petition are deemed to have been denied by the respondents.
