Case diary produced by the State and the report submitted by the Deputy Commissioner of Police, South Suburban Division has been considered by this Court. Steps have been taken and the Deputy Commissioner of Police has contended that the supplementary charge-sheet is ready and is to be submitted before the jurisdictional court in close proximity of time. The Deputy Commissioner of Police, South Suburban Division will, prior to the supplementary charge-sheet being submitted, check serial no.10 of the form under Section 173 of the Cr.P.C.

in respect of the details of the properties/articles/documents recovered/seized in course of the investigation be reflected in the form which is submitted before the learned trial court.

In view of the steps taken by the superior officer of the police, I am of the view that further pendency of the writ petition is unwarranted. Steps be taken as is reflected from the information furnished before this Court by the superior officer of police.

Accordingly, WPA 29703 of 2024 is disposed of.

Report submitted by the Deputy Commissioner of Police be kept with the record. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
