1. Let affidavit-of-service as filed in Court be kept on record.

2. Mr. Patra, learned Advocate, appearing for the petitioners, submits that they had purchased a land in the District of Purba Medinipur, sometime in 1989 by Registered Deed of Sale.

3. As it subsequently transpired, the factum of execution of the document is not disputed by the parties. However, the question whether the document on the basis whereof the registration had been done, was forged or not is, before an appropriate court, pending adjudication. The petitioners merely seek a certified copy of such document.

4. Mr. Banerjee, learned Advocate appearing for the respondents no. 1 to 4, states, on instruction, that the concerned respondents are willing to provide a

certified copy of the document, provided the deficit stamp duty is paid by the petitioners.

5. In view of the submissions made by the parties, Mr. Patra agrees to tender the deficit stamp duty within a period of two weeks from date. Upon receipt of such deficit stamp duty, the respondent no. 4 will hand over a certified copy of the Deed dated June 12, 1989, being Deed no. 2582/1989 (Book No. I) [SL. No. 2624/1989] within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of payment by the petitioners.

6. A copy of the instruction, by the respondent no. 4 to the learned Government Pleader, is kept on record.

7. The instant writ petition is, thus, disposed of with the aforestated direction.

8. There shall, however, be no order as to costs.

9. Since no affidavit is called for, the allegations contained in the writ petition are deemed not to be admitted.

10.Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties on usual undertaking.
