The petitioner seeks relief of switching options or migrating to his regular D.El.Ed qualification obtained from WBBPE as his primary qualification instead of D.El.Ed qualification obtained from National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) for the post of Primary Teacher in the recruitment process for the year 2022.

This Court has, in WPA 2561 of 2024 (Sumanta Koley and Ors. Vs. State of West Bengal and Ors.), allowed such conversion by judgement dated February 2, 2024.

Subject to verification of the petitioner's documents, the petitioner, for the reasons and on the terms as directed in the order dated December 2, 2022 shall be allowed to migrate and change his option to D.El.Ed regular from D.El.Ed from NIOS as his primary qualification.

All consequential steps may be taken by the respondents accordingly.

With the aforesaid observations, the instant writ petition shall stand disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

7.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all formalities.
