Learned counsel further submits that due to personal illness the petitioner could not appear before the authority on 12th November, 2024. Consequently, the concerned respondent authority rejected the prayer for revocation of the cancellation of the registration certificate on 25th November, 2024.

Learned counsel appearing for the respondent authority is present.

Since the petitioner's application for revocation of the cancellation of the registration certificate required a mandatory opportunity of hearing, one that the petitioner could not avail due to personal illness, this Court has considered the matter. Accordingly, the order dated 25th

November, 2024 is quashed. The concerned respondent authority is therefore requested to give an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, let the petitioner produce necessary documents at the time of hearing before passing any order regarding the petitioners' application for revocation of the cancellation of the registration certificate. This exercise should be completed by the concerned respondent authority within one month from date.

With the above observations and directions, the writ petition is disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

All parties shall act on the basis of the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
