We have considered the materials on record. Petitioner is involved in dealing in narcotics. It is contended no narcotics was recovered from his possession and co-accused have been granted pre arrest bail. We are unable to accept the prayer for pre arrest bail on parity. Co-accused were granted pre arrest bail in March/April, 2024. Petitioner has absconded for more than a year and warrant of arrest has been issued against him.

In view of his conduct and nature of crime, we are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected.
