Report submitted by the learned advocate appearing for the State be kept with the record. A copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate appearing for the petitioners.

Petitioners informed the local police station on or about 03.12.2024 and are aggrieved by the fact that in spite of receipt of such information where cognizable offence was committed, no steps have been taken.

State has submitted a report which reflects that Bakultala P.S. Case No. 567 of 2024 dated 14.12.2024 was registered for investigation under the relevant provisions of law against the respondent no.5 herein.

Having considered that the police authorities at the relevant point of time have taken steps, I am of the view that if the petitioners have further grievance, petitioners would approach the jurisdictional Magistrate with an appropriate application under the relevant provisions of law. Learned Magistrate would assess regarding the

contentions and thereafter dispose of the same in accordance with law.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition being WPA 29862 of 2024 is disposed of. Pending connected application, if any, is consequently disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
