1. Petitioner has preferred the present writ petition seeking grant of electricity connection of his plot no. 464 J.L. No.- 214 Mouza Salaidanga under Gazole PS district Malda.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that he has installed a submersible pump for carrying out agricultural activities on his plot and had applied for electricity connection on 23.10.2024.

However, the respondent WBSEDCL neither carried out any inspection nor has raised any quotation amount.

3. Learned counsel for the respondent WBSEDCL submits that they will raise a quotation amount within a period of one week.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he shall comply with all the necessary formalities.

5. This court directs in case the petitioner complies with all the required formalities and pays the quotation amount, the respondent WBSEDCL

shall provide electricity connection to the petitioner as expeditiously as possible.

6. With the above directions the present writ petition is disposed of.
