The petitioner is aggrieved by the non-grant of electricity connection by the respondent authorities for carrying out his agricultural activities.

It is the case of the petitioner that he is the owner of plot no.1001, J.L. No. 19. Mouza - Khocha Kandar, District - Malda. The petitioner had installed submersible pump for carrying out his agricultural activities on his plot and had applied for the electricity connection on 09.11.2024. It is the submission of the learned Counsel for the petitioner that he has already deposited the quotation amount raised by the respondent authority.

Learned Counsel for the respondent submits that they will grant new electricity connection to the petitioner within a period of two months after complying with all the necessary formalities. 4.

In view of the statement made by the learned Counsel for the respondent, this Court deems it

appropriate to dispose of the present writ petition with a direction to the respondent authority to grant electricity connection to the petitioner within a period of two months from the date of server copy of this order, subject to the petitioner complying with all the necessary formalities.

With the above directions, the present writ petition is disposed of.
