In this writ petition, the writ petitioners have prayed for cancellation of mutation of assessment records in the name of respondent no.4.

Learned advocate appearing for respondent no.4 has drawn attention of this Court to an order dated December 22, 2021 passed by the Deputy AssessorCollector, South Kolkata Municipal Corporation whereby the said officer deleted the name of the petitioners from the relevant assessment record.

From a bare perusal of the said order, it appears that the petitioners participated in the hearing before passing the order. This writ petition does not disclose the order dated December 22, 2021.

In the above facts, I am not inclined to pass any order in this writ petition.

The petitioners will be at liberty to challenge the order dated December 22, 2021, if they are entitled to do so in accordance with law.

Accordingly, WPA 28570 of 2023 is dismissed.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the learned advocates for the parties on usual undertakings.
