On February 9, 2026, when the matter was last taken up for hearing, an adjournment was granted on the prayer of the petitioners.

Subsequently, on February 10, 2026, although the State was consistently represented by the learned Additional Government Pleader, none appeared to move the matter on behalf of the petitioners. 3.

Even today, at the time of call, none appears for the petitioners, although the learned AGP is present. 4.

Accordingly, WPLRT 223 of 2025 is dismissed for default without any order as to costs.
