Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the FIR in the instant case was lodged on 17.11.2023 for an alleged occurrence that took place on 12.11.2023. The investigation has not gone on in the best manner.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State opposes the prayer for transfer of investigation and submits that the investigation is going on into the allegations made. It appears that some time has elapsed from the date on which the FIR has been lodged.

Considering the delay and the nature of allegations, let the investigation of the case be transferred to the Detective Department, Kolkata Police.

With these observations, WPA 28645 of 2023 is disposed of.
