Mr. Anirban Bose, learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that, the direction of this court stands complied with. However, he prays for liberty to claim interest on the delayed payment made by the authority on account of the retiral benefits of the petitioner.

Considering the submissions as recorded above, since the direction of this Court stands complied with, nothing further survives in the contempt proceeding.

Accordingly, CPAN 1981 of 2024 stands dropped and closed.

However, petitioner shall be at liberty to claim interest on delayed payment of retiral benefits in accordance with law.
