The petitioner retired from service in June 2024. He has not received his terminal dues till date allegedly because of some objections raised by the accounts department.

The petitioner has annexed a document dated November 28, 2025 signed by the headmaster addressed to the DI of Schools (SE), North 24 Parganas mentioning that the objections have been cured by the school. The headmaster has requested the DI of Schools to issue the ROPA 2019 pay fixation, the confirmation date of fixation and the admissible IPF.

Learned counsel for the State submits, upon instruction, that due to non-filing of option within the prescribed time, the pension file of the petitioner could not be made ready. The communication of the DI of Schools to the school dated November 19, 2025 has been placed.

Upon hearing the parties and on perusal of the documents annexed to the writ petition, it appears that the objections raised by the DI of

Schools is reported to be met by the head of the institution and communicated to the DI of School vide communicating letter dated November 28, 2025.

The petitioner, the head of the institution and the DI of Schools are, therefore, directed to cooperate with each other and ensure that the pension file of the petitioner is made ready without any further delay. The same shall, thereafter, be forwarded to the Director of Pension, Provident Fund & Group Insurance, West Bengal for issuance of PPO in his favour.

The respondents shall take steps to ensure that PPO is issued in favour of the petitioner positively by June 30, 2026 after compliance of all necessary formalities.

The writ petition is disposed of.
