The writ petition was lastly listed on 20.12.2007. The grievance of the petitioner was inaction on behalf of the Officer-in-Charge, KLC Police Station, 24-Parganas (South).

I have considered the contents of the representation dated 17.12.2007 made to the police authorities and having taken into account the time period which has in the meantime lapsed, which is more than 16 years, I am of the view that the purpose for which the writ petition was preferred has lost its force. Accordingly, the writ petition being WPA 27445 of 2007 is dismissed.

Pending connected application, if any, is consequently disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
