Affidavit-of-service filed by the petitioner be kept with the record.

Petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that he has lost a sum of Rs.1 crore by way of investments through fraudulent companies and to that effect he has sent information to the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal. The said complaint was forwarded to the appropriate police station.

Subsequently, Chandannagar Police Station Case No.246 of 2024 dated 19.12.2024 has been registered for investigation against six accused persons. Steps are being taken by the concerned police station after registration of the FIR very recently.

In view of the steps being taken by the police authorities, a progress report be submitted before the jurisdictional Magistrate after 60 days from the date

of communication of this order. Learned jurisdictional court would apprise the de facto complainant regarding the steps taken by fixing a date after 60 days.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 30156 of 2024 is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

Report submitted by the State be kept with the record.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
