The petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that the complaint which was addressed to the police authorities on 22.06.2023 was not acted upon. State has submitted a report which reflects that Baguiati Police Station Case No. 368/2023 dated 22.06.2023 was registered for investigation under the relevant provisions of law and the police authorities after collection of evidence submitted charge-sheet before the jurisdictional court on or about 31.07.2023. Having considered that the police authorities have taken steps, I am of the view that the purpose for which the writ petition was preferred has been subserved. If there is any grievance in respect of the charge-sheet submitted

before the jurisdictional court, it would be for the petitioner to ventilate such grievance before the court in seisin of Baguiati Police Station Case No. 368/2023 dated 22.06.2023.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition being WPA 28702 of 2023 is disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
