And In the matter of : Asrafuddoula @ Md. Asrafuddoullah ...... petitioner Mr. Mrityunjoy Chatterjee ....for the petitioner Mrs. Z. N. Khan, Mr. Manoranjan Mahata ....for the State Police filed charge-sheet inter alia under Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860.

Materials in the Case Diary suggest involvement of the petitioner in the incident of murder.

Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner in the incident, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

This application for anticipatory bail is, thus, rejected. CRM(A) 5686 of 2023 is disposed of.
