Mr. Anjan Dutta ...for the petitioner Mr. Atarup Banerjee, Ms. Debjani Ghosh ...for the respondents The present writ petition has been preferred praying for issuance of necessary direction upon the learned Tribunal towards expeditious disposal of the original application being OA No. 1792 of 2022, filed in the year 2022.

Mr. Dutta learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the original application is pending since the year 2022 and in spite of repeated directions, no reply has been filed by the respondents.

Mr. Banerjee, learned advocate appearing for the respondents submits, upon instruction, that the reply on behalf of the respondents has already been affirmed and would be filed before the learned Tribunal today. A copy of the said reply would be handed over to the learned advocate-on-record of the applicant before the learned Tribunal within a week from date.

The petitioner would be at liberty to file a rejoinder to the same within two weeks thereafter.

We have been informed that the next date of hearing before the learned Tribunal has been fixed on 21st February, 2024.

In view thereof, we request the learned Tribunal to dispose of the original application as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six months from date, without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties.

With the above observations and directions, the present writ petition is disposed of.

There shall, however, be no order as to costs. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the learned advocates for the parties.
