It appears from the status report submitted on behalf of the respondents in WPA 18642 of 2023 that award has been declared in favour of the petitioners in both the writ petitions on 18th July, 2016.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners shall approach the concerned authority, being the 2nd respondent, for receipt of the compensation along with all relevant documents in support of their respective claims within 15 days from date. The 2nd respondent is directed to pay compensation to the petitioners upon verification of the documents submitted by them within two months from the date of submission of the applications and relevant documents by the petitioners.

Since nothing further remains to be adjudicated in the writ petitions, the same are disposed of.

There shall, however, be no order as to costs. Since no affidavit is invited, the allegations contained in the petition are deemed not to be admitted. Urgent certified website copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
