Kumari Baishaki Das v. State Of West Bengal & ORS
08.06.2021 Sl. No. 07 CHC/ Mithun Ct.No.19 CRM/13025/2017 (Via Video Conference) In the matter of:
Kumari Baishaki Das ...petitioner Mr. Gautam Banerjee.
...for the petitioner Mr. Prasun Kumar Datta, Ld. A.P.P.
Mr. S. Roy ...for the State None appears on behalf of the petitioner.
Mr. Prasun Kumar Datta, learned A.P.P.-in-charge is requested to appear in this matter with Mr. S. Roy to assist this Court.
The appointment of Mr. Datta and Mr. Roy be regularized.
It appears from the order dated 8th January, 2018 that this Court directed the petitioner to serve notice of the instant application to the opposite party nos.2 and 3 under registered speed post with acknowledgement due.
There is nothing in the record that the petitioner has complied with the said order. The opposite parties were enjoying bail since 17th August, 2017. This Court is of the view that an
application for cancellation of bail does not deserve any merit after lapse of about four years.
Accordingly, the instant application being C.R.M.13025 of 2017 is dismissed.
