Petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that in spite of information being furnished before the Daspur Police Station, no action has been taken in respect of the overt acts of the private respondents who have caused damage to the tune of Rs. 60 lacs to the petitioner. Report submitted by the State reflects that the police authorities have taken steps and consequently Daspur Police Station Case No. 650 of 2024 dated 19.12.2024 has been registered for investigation. If the petitioner intends to recover the damages, he has to approach the jurisdictional civil Court. So far as the investigation in connection with the present criminal case is concerned, police authorities would

effectively conduct the same by assessing the role of each of the accused persons and accordingly take steps against them in accordance with law so that the case can be taken to its logical conclusion within a reasonable period of time.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 30142 of 2024 is disposed of.

Report so submitted be kept with the record. Copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate for the petitioners.
