Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner along with others have been implicated in connection with the instant case for alleged recovery of 39 Kgs. 870 Gms. of Ganja.

Learned advocate for the State submits that the date has been fixed for consideration of charges on 31.01.2026. Having considered that commercial quantity of contraband is involved, the rigors of Section 37 of the NDPS Act is attracted.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner in CRM (NDPS) 1 of 2026 is rejected.

Memo of Evidence submitted by the learned advocate for the State be kept with the record.
