Banerjee, learned Senior Standing Counsel, appearing for the State submits a report, which reflects that the police authorities have already registered a case being Baruipur P.S. Case No. 2055

of 2024 dated 22.12.2024 under the relevant provisions of BNS, 2023.

Learned advocate for the private respondents submits that criminal cases have been instituted to harass them.

Be that as it may, since the police authorities have acted on the complaints filed at the behest of the petitioner, at this stage, further pendency of the writ petition is unwarranted. The investigating authorities would take the investigation to its logical conclusion within a reasonable period of time.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 30184 of 2024 is disposed of.
