Petitioner no. 1 is the mother-in-law and petitioner no. 2 is the uncle-in-law of the de facto complainant-housewife. They contended there was matrimonial discord. De facto complainant had misbehaved with her father-in-law and others. As a result her father-in-law died. She was arrested. Subsequently, they have been falsely implicated.

Learned Advocate for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail.

We have considered the materials on record. Allegation of administration of poison is not supported by medical evidence. It is contended there was a skirmish between de facto complainant and the in-laws. At that stage, her father-in-law died. She was Signed By :

arrested. Possibility of false implication owing to matrimonial discord cannot be ruled out.

Under such circumstances, we are inclined to grant anticipatory bail.

Accordingly, we direct that in the event of arrest, the petitioners viz., (1) Reba Saha and (2) Raja Roy Chowdhury be released on bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs.10,000/- each, with two sureties of like amount each, to the satisfaction of the Arresting Officer and also subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 482(2) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023. They shall appear before the jurisdictional court and pray for regular bail within four weeks from date. 6.
