Petitioner has preferred the present writ petition seeking grant of electricity connection for a submersible pump which has been installed in a plot at Mouza - Manikore under Police Station Gazole, District- Malda for carrying out agricultural activities. The petitioner has paid the quotation amount on 16.08.2024. Despite fulfillment of necessary formalities the respondent authorities have failed to take any step to grant electricity connection.

Learned Counsel for the respondent authority appears and states that quotation has been raised and petitioner has already deposited the money in terms of

the said quotation. Electricity connection will be effected within a period of four weeks. Petitioner shall make all the necessary compliance for the same. 4.

In view of the statement made by the learned Counsel for the respondent authorities petitioner does not wish to press the present writ petition.

Accordingly, the present writ petition is disposed of as not pressed.

Urgent certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of necessary formalities.
