The husband of the petitioner was an Assistant Teacher at Kalikapur Basanta Uchacha Prathamik Vidyalaya under Moyna Circle of the District Primary School Council, Purba Medinipur.

On attaining the age of superannuation, he had retired from his said service and had died on November 28, 2009. He was receiving pension during his lifetime and after his death the widow, the petitioner herein has prayed for family pension.

A representation of the petitioner to the said effect is pending consideration before the District Inspector of Schools (Primary Education), Purba Medinipur, the respondent

no.7 herein. The said representation dated October 22, 2024 forms part of the writ petition being Annexure 'P-4'.

The petitioner is praying direction upon the respondent no.7 to dispose of the said representation.

The respondent no.7 is, therefore, directed to consider the said representation in accordance with law and to dispose of it as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four weeks from the date of communication of this order after giving all concerned opportunity of hearing.

WPA 30195 of 2024 is disposed of with the above terms without any order as to costs. Since no affidavit has been invited, the allegations contained in the writ petition are deemed to have been denied by the respondents. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties subject to compliance with all requisite formalities.
