1. Petitioner is in custody for about one year four months.

2. Charges stand framed as against the petitioner, inter alia, of murder.

3. Police filed charge sheet.

4. 22 prosecution witnesses are slated to be examined at the trial.

5. Materials placed on record implicate the petitioner in the murder.

6. Considering the gravity of the offence, the materials placed on record as also the quantum of custody of the petitioner, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage.

7. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.

8. CRM (DB) 4336 of 2024 is dismissed.
