Mr. Banerjee, learned Counsel appearing on behalf of NIOS submits that as a matter of practice, three chances are given to any candidate to clear the supplementary examination. He further submits that second chance to the unsuccessful candidate will be given within four months from date and the last chance would be given within six months thereafter. 2.

In view of the aforesaid submissions, this Court is of the view that nothing further remains to be adjudicated in the contempt application.

It is expected that all unsuccessful candidates get the second and third chances as indicated hereinabove.

The publication of the supplementary examination and the Schedule therefor shall be made widely circulated including on the website of the NIOS and MOE, if any.

5.

With the aforesaid directions, W.P.C.R.C. 37 of 2026 shall stand disposed of.

6.

Rule, if any, shall stand discharged.

7.

There will be no order as to costs.

8.

All parties are directed to act on a server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
