The petitioner has challenged an order of transfer dated 22nd September, 2023. The petitioner is an employee of National Insurance Company Limited (in short 'NICL'). At the time of joining the petitioner was aware that his job is a transferable one. It is wellsettled that transfer orders are policy decision of the employer for the purpose of smooth administration. Transfer orders are seldom interfered with unless it is patently illegal, arbitrary or it amounts to victimization. Nothing of that sort is apparent in the instant case. The application challenging the transfer order is, as such, unmeritorious and, as such, dismissed. Dismissal of this writ petition will, however, not stand in the way in the employer

considering the petitioner for being transferred to any other place than that which has been specified in the order of transfer dated 22nd September, 2023 for better administrative purpose.
