1. Petitioner prays for bail.

2. Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that, the petitioner is in custody for 473 days.

3. The materials in the case diary, according to him, do not implicate the petitioner in murder.

4. Learned advocate appearing for the State submits that the victim was assaulted by the petitioner by an iron rod. Victim suffered 14 injuries. Death occurred due to injury suffered by the victim at the behest of the petitioner.

5. Trial is in progress. Out of 25 prosecution witnesses 1 was examined. Next dates being recorded in the evidence of the prosecution witnesses stands fixed by the learned trial Judge.

6. Materials on record implicate the petitioner in murder.

7. Considering the gravity of the offence, involvement of the petitioner in the incident, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

8. Prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.

9. CRM (DB) 4385 of 2024 is dismissed.
