1. The petitioners are aggrieved by the steps taken by the authorised officer of the Assets Re-construction Company (India) Limited.

2. The petitioners pray for one-time settlement of the loan account.

3. It appears that the bank has already transferred the loan account to the asset reconstruction company for recovery of the loan.

4. The Court is of the opinion that the writ petition, against the asset reconstruction company, being a private body will not be maintainable.

5. It will be open for the petitioners to take steps in accordance with law before the competent forum for redressal of their grievances.

6. The writ petition fails and is hereby dismissed.

7. Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities.
