Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that about 10 Ltrs. Of Codeine Mixture were allegedly recovered from the possession of the petitioner and the petitioner is in custody since 15.03.2025.

Learned advocate for the State submits that witness action has already started and PW 3 has already been examined.

Having considered that witness action has already commenced and is in progress in a case within a period of 9 months, I am of the view, at this stage the prayer for bail of the petitioner in CRM (NDPS) 2 of 2026 is to be rejected. Report submitted by the State be kept with the record.

All parties shall act in terms of server copy of the order downloaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
