It is the contention of the applicants that the sole appellant died on 08.02.2025 leaving behind the applicants as the legal heirs. The supplementary affidavit filed also reflects the age of the applicant no.2, Saroni Bhattacharyya. In the facts and circumstances, this application stands allowed.

Let the death of the appellant Mala Bhattacharyya be recorded and the applicant Sukriti Devi and Saroni Bhattacharyya be substituted in her place and stead. The awarded sum be disbursed in favour of the applicants in place and stead of the Mala Bhattacharyya.

The awarded sum with regard to share of Mala Bhattacharyya be paid to the applicants equally upon proof of the necessary documents.

IA No.: CAN 1 of 2025 stands disposed of.
