REJECTED C.R.M.(A) 5702 of 2023 In Re:- An application for anticipatory bail under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure in connection with Baishnabnagar Police Station Case No. 332 of 2023 dated 19.5.2023 under Sections 406/420/506/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Ms. Rituparna De Ghosh ....for the State Materials in the case diary suggensts that a sum of Rs.70 lakhs was obtained from the members of the public by the petitioner as well as her husband.

Enlarging the petitioner on anticipatory bail will be inimical to the investigation.

Accordingly, prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected and the application being CRM (A) 5702 of 2023 is dismissed.
