The petitioner complains that her information which was furnished with the police authorities on 18.11.2024 followed by a representation on 06.12.2024 remained unattended.

However, subsequently it has come to the knowledge of the petitioner that a case has been registered but the same is under sections which according to the petitioner, would facilitate advantage to the persons who have been charged with the offence.

Mr.

Banerjee, learned senior standing counsel appearing for the State submits that the police authorities have acted on the information. As such, the preliminary grievance of the petitioner is redressed. Learned advocate submits that there is background of facts which resisted the police authorities to delay in registration of the FIR. Be that as it may, as the primary grievance of the petitioner is at present regarding certain sections being not added, I grant liberty to the

petitioner to approach the jurisdictional Magistrate in seisin of the matter for bringing it to the notice of the said court regarding certain sections, if any have been omitted in the FIR. In case such application is made, the learned Magistrate would exercise his discretion and thereafter pass necessary orders, if required for addition of sections.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition being WPA 30049 of 2024 is disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
