The petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that in spite of the nursing college receiving huge amount of money for a nursing course, but subsequently it was informed to the petitioner that his daughter's registration is not possible. As such, the petitioner has informed the Officer-in-Charge, Taherpur Police Station in respect of the act and actions of the college authorities.

State has submitted a report which reflects that since the communication was made to Taherpur Police Station, Taherpur Police Station has drawn up Zero FIR dated 23.12.2024 under Section 420 of the Indian Penal Code and they would forward the same to Duttapukur Police

Station which has jurisdiction to investigate the case.

The investigating officer of Duttapukur Police Station would immediately take steps on receipt of the FIR for collection of documents, record the statement of the relevant witnesses and within a reasonable period of time take the investigation to its logical conclusion.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition being WPA 30206 of 2024 is disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
