The petitioner submits that he has undergone the punishment for more than 14 years. His father made a prayer before the authorities on September 20, 2023 for remission of his sentence and premature release. In the above facts, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction upon respondent no. 6 to process the application of the petitioner dated September 20, 2023 in accordance with law for consideration by the competent authority. Let such exercise be completed within two months from the date of communication of this order. Accordingly, WPA 28818 of 2023 is disposed of.
