Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that petitioner is a child in conflict with law and had been facing trial.

Learned advocate further submits that the petitioner is in custody for 2 years and 5 months and as such further detention would jeopardize the career prospects of the petitioner.

Learned advocate for the State on the other hand opposes the prayer for bail and submits that out of 16 witnesses proposed to be examined the evidence of 15 witnesses are over.

Having considered the belated stage at which the petitioner approached this Court, I am not inclined to release the petitioner on bail.

Accordingly, CRM (M) 24 of 2026 is dismissed. Report submitted by the State be kept with the record. All parties shall act in terms of server copy of the order downloaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
