The petitioner complains that he has been threatened by the Officer-in-Charge of Sankrail Police Station in a language which is uncalled for from a public servant. The petitioner gave representation before the superior police authorities and administration, but till date no action has been taken.

Learned advocate appearing for the State has submitted report, which contains a series of cases. Be that as it may, the report has been prepared by the officer against whom the accusations have been made. Accordingly, I direct the Commissioner of Police, Howrah Police Commissionerate will enquire into the representation dated 13.12.2024

furnished by the petitioner and inform the outcome of the same to the petitioner preferably within a period of four weeks from the date of communication of this order.

With the aforesaid observation, WPA 29978 of 2024 is disposed of.

The report submitted be kept with the record. Copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate for the petitioner.

All the parties shall act on the basis of the server copy of the order.

Urgent photostat certified copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties, upon usual undertakings.
