1. Affidavit-of-service filed in Court today be taken on record.

2. The petitioner joined the service of the District Primary School Council, Purba Burdwan in the year 2000 as an Assistant Teacher in Ex-serviceman Category. He waited as late as 2017 to undertake the D. El. Ed. Course. Such course has been completed from the NIOS.

3. Admittedly the D. El. Ed. from the NIOS is not recognized by the NCTE.

4. The petitioner is, therefore, an untrained candidate and cannot be entitled to "A" Category Pay Scale.

5. In view of the above, the instant writ petition must fail and is hereby dismissed.

6. There will be no order as to costs.

7. All parties are directed to act on a server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
