Pursuant to our earlier direction, Investigating Officer is personally present before this court and submits report. His presence is noted and dispensed with.

It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that he was the driver of the vehicle and did not induce the de-facto complainant to make payment. Accordingly, he prays for anticipatory bail. 3.

Learned Advocate for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail.

We have considered the materials on record. Petitioner is a member of the group who had induced the de-facto complainant to pay money for the purpose of procuring Government employment for his daughter. Keeping in mind gravity of the offence and prima facie involvement of the petitioner therein, we are of the opinion his custodial interrogation is necessary and this is not a fit case to grant anticipatory bail to him.

Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner stands rejected.
