1. The writ petition has been preferred praying for direction upon the respondents to take appropriate action for disbursement of Gratuity of Rs.

2,91,139/- along with statutory interest thereon plus cost of Rs. 10,00000/- (Rs. Ten Lakh ) only.

2. On hearing the learned counsel appearing for the parties it appears that matter is pending before the Certificate Officer, Howrah, in a certificate proceeding.

3. Accordingly, on hearing the parties, the writ application is disposed of with the direction that the parties are at liberty to approach the Certificate Officer who shall make all endeavour to dispose of the certificate proceedings expeditiously

preferably within six months from the date of this order.

4. The writ application stands disposed of.

5. Urgent Photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the learned counsel for the parties on usual undertakings.
