Mr. Agniswar Bhuinya ....for the petitioners Mr. Chandi Charan De, AGP Mr. Anirban Sarkar ....for the State The learned advocate appearing for the petitioners, in his usual fairness, submits that through inadvertence the Office of the Government Pleader has not been served, but the State-respondents have been served.

Mr.

Chandi Charan De, learned Additional Government Pleader is present in Court and he is requested to appear in this matter.

A copy of the writ petition has already been served upon Mr. De, learned Additional Government Pleader. Let the appointment of Mr. De along with a junior of his choice be regularised by the competent authority. The petitioners have challenged the order passed by the prescribed authority under Section 50 of the West Bengal Land Reforms Act, 1955.

The learned advocate appearing for the petitioners submits that the names of the petitioners herein were deleted from the Record of Rights and the names of the

private respondents were recorded in the Record of Rights in respect of plot in question.

In view of the alternative efficacious remedy provided under the West Bengal Land Reforms Tenancy and Tribunal Act, 1997, this Court is not inclined to entertain this writ petition.

Accordingly, WPA 29774 of 2025 stands disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.
