This is a contempt proceeding arising out of an order dated July 8, 2024 passed by this court. Pursuant to the rule issue on April 4, 2025 the alleged contemnor no. 2 was also present in person before this court on May 2, 2025.

Today the learned advocate for the alleged contemnor Mr. Chandra Nath Sarkar files an affidavit of compliance showing that the reasoned order has been passed and communicated to the jurisdictional SDO for taking necessary steps.

Saunak Mondal, learned advocate appearing for the petitioner has also confirmed this factual position and submits that the direction of this court, insofar as the alleged contemnor is concerned has been complied with.

In view of the above, nothing further remains in this contempt proceeding.

Accordingly, WPCRC 77 of 2025 stands dropped and closed.

Rule issued, stands discharged.

Thus, WPCRC 77 of 2025 stands disposed of.
