The panchayat authorities have already complied with the order. They have found illegal construction and asked the person responsible for such construction of the septic tank to restore the same to its original position within three months. The petitioner is aggrieved by the period allowed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to approach the appropriate forum, in accordance with law.

Be that as it may, the panchayat authorities are immediately required to transmit the records and its findings, to the concerned sub-divisional officer within a period of 10 days from date, for further action as per law.

The concerned sub-divisional officer shall thereafter proceed in accordance with law.

The petitioner will be at liberty to appear before the sub-divisional officer for a further adjudication of the issue.

Accordingly, the contempt application is disposed of and the contempt proceedings are dropped. The rule is discharged.
