Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody for about 3 months and since charge sheet has already been submitted further detention of the petitioner is unwarranted.

Learned advocate for the State has produced the case diary.

I have considered the nature of the injury inflicted for which the petitioner has been implicated in connection with the instant case and I am of the opinion that this is not a fit case for granting bail at this stage.

Learned Magistrate in seisin of the case is directed to expedite the process of commitment of the case. Petitioner would approach this Court after the evidence of the injured is over.

At this stage the prayer for bail of the petitioner in CRM (M) 26 of 2026 is rejected.

Learned Magistrate and the learned Sessions Judge/Trial Court would ensure that the process of evidence of the injured witness is completed within a period of 5 months from the date so fixed.

All parties shall act in terms of server copy of the order downloaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
