1. It is the case of the petitioner that he had two electricity connections in his name. However, due to defective transformers, excessive bills were raised on the petitioner and the same were not paid.

2. The respondent had disconnected the electricity connection on 11.12.2023. It is a case of the petitioner that he has been making several representations to the respondents regarding the difficulties faced by him, however, no steps have been taken to redress his grievances.

3. Left it no other option, the petitioner has preferred the present writ petition.

4. Learned counsel for the respondents states that the representation of the petitioner shall be decided within a period of two weeks from the date of communication of this order after affording

an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner by way of a speaking order.

5. With the above such concession, the petitioner does not wish to press the writ petition and the same is disposed of in terms of the above direction.
